Combination of lustrous carbon formers and bentonite in a ready-to-use mixture that has been developed and is supplied for green-sand casting materials (s. Green-sand casting) that are used in modern core shooters, squeezers or pulse molding machines (s. Molding machines).

The benefits of the addition of lustrous carbon formers are:

• reduction of liability to erosion

The bentonite content improves the product in terms of decrease of the risk of dust explosion and suppression of auto-oxidation, as well as improved storage and conveying properties.
