Aluminum alloy (not standardized) with the chemical denomination AlMg7Si3Mn for use in gravity die casting or pressure die casting. The chemical composition of an alloy of this type with the brand name Thermodur®-72 from the manufacturer  Aluminium Rheinfelden Alloys GmbH can be found in Table 1.

Characteristic properties

Pressure die casting alloy for the manufacture of engines for parts with very high requirements regarding high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance (Table 1, Table 2).
