Fault rate

 

The fault rate is a quality criterion and/or a characteristic value of technical systems. It can be determined on the basis of organizational, technical, maintenance of test-related downtime reasons.

The organizational fault rate (eq. 1) illustrates the fault rate percentage due to organizational lacks and refers to the holding time:
