Kelvin

Kelvin is mainly used in thermodynamics, heat transmission and generally in science and engineering for specification of temperatures and temperature differences. It is the SI unit for thermodynamic temperature and simultaneously official unit of temperature.

For conversion from degrees Celsius to Kelvin the following equation is used Eq. 1:
