Locating core

Is used for correct location and mutual guiding of mold and core parts.

From the parting plane (s. Mold joint) they protrude into the parts to be guided and located in the form of cones or trunkated pyramids. This prevents offset of the mold. The corresponding core locations are established by means of core prinst that are incorporated in pattern plates or at core box levels.
