The sand cores are fed into the core refiner either manually or automatically. The blasting material is transported upwards by a screw into a tank from where it is metered and allowed to drop through a narrow curtain. The cores are moved manually or by robot through this curtain and the burrs are removed from all sides.
The drop height of the blasting material and the transport speed of the cores can be adapted to the requirements, allowing the intensity of deburring to be individually set. The grain size and material of the shot can be adapted to the core type. The core refiner can be operated either as a standalone machine or in combination with several machines, as required.
