The metal press for producing chip briquet is simply pushed to the chip-producing machining center, quickly connected and the user benefits from all the advantages of briquette production including the directly returned cooling emulsion.

Unmanned operation increases productivity

The BrikStar iSwarf 50 from Höcker Polytechnik is a mobile briquet press that can be easily moved by one person to where it is needed. With a floor space of over 1 m2, it stands where the chip bin would otherwise and minimizes up to 50 kg of aluminum chips or 90 kg of steel chips every hour to high-quality briquettes. The reduced volume and the directly returned cooling emulsion reduce the manpower required on the machining center. There is no need for chip management during machining and this enables unmanned night or weekend operation of the machining center.

The BrikStar iSwarf 50 has been on the market since 2020 and is already in use umpteen times. The easy handling and the favorable price-performance ratio make packaging with the help of the press also interesting for companies that have so far refrained from investing in a metal press. The design is compact and yet it offers the uncompromising advantages of a central briquetting solution such as an automatic start-stop system, fill level sensor or integrated emulsion pump. The configuration is done conveniently via the integrated panel.
