TRIMET site in Voerde puts casting plant into operation

At the beginning of June 2021, the TRIMET location in Voerde put a newly installed casting plant for aluminum sows into operation.

The aluminum smelter with attached anode factory is thus able to produce ingot metal itself. So far, the site has supplied its 99.9% pure electrolysis aluminum exclusively in liquid form to customers and to the foundry at the TRIMET site in Essen.
