Storage of the pre-wetted homogenized used sand in the bunker for swelling (dispersion ) of the thermally loaded bentonite. The same applies to freshly conditioned mold material which is also stored in the bunker for further betonite digestion. Ultimately, these measures improve the mold material characteristics, mainly the plasticity.
